What is Apache Guacamole?
Guacamole is a remote access tool that lets you use other computers through your web browser — no software install needed.
How do I log in?
Click Remote on the menu and enter your username and password (click on Show Guacamole Credentials to display them for a limited period of time).
What should I do after logging in?
You’ll see a list of available remote desktops or servers. Click on one to connect. You can set up new connections by visiting your account page on the right side.
What devices and browsers can I use?
Any computer, tablet, or smartphone with a modern browser like Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge.
Can I copy and paste between my computer and the remote session?
Yes, you can copy and paste text. Press Ctrl + Alt + Shift to open the sidebar and use Clipboard.
How do I send Ctrl+Alt+Del or special keys?
Press Ctrl + Alt + Shift to open the sidebar, then use the "Send Keys" option.
Is my connection secure?
Yes. Your OpsBay login can be enhanced by two-factor authentication. IP restrictions will also be available.
What should I do if my session freezes or disconnects?
Close the tab or window and log back in. If it keeps happening, report it to your IT support.
Can I open multiple sessions at the same time?
Yes.
What if I forget my password?
Apache Guacamole is provided as a managed service, and credentials will be periodically updated as a security measure. Click on Show Guacamole Credentials button to display current values.
