What is Uptime Kuma?
Uptime Kuma is a self-hosted monitoring tool that checks if websites, servers, or services are online and alerts you if they go down.
How do I access Uptime Kuma?
Click Monitor on the menu and enter your username and password (click on Show Uptime Kuma Credentials to display them for a limited period of time).
What can I monitor with Uptime Kuma?
You can monitor websites (HTTP/HTTPS), servers (ping), ports (TCP), and even custom services using different protocols.
How will I know if something is down?
Uptime Kuma can send you notifications via email, Telegram, Discord, Slack, Pushover, Gotify, and more when a monitored service goes down or comes back up.
Can I see a history of outages?
Yes, Uptime Kuma keeps a history of uptime and downtime events, which you can view in the dashboard.
What do the green and red indicators mean?
Green means the service is online (up). Red means the service is unreachable (down).
How often does Uptime Kuma check my services?
It depends on the settings — you can set the check interval (for example, every 30 seconds, 1 minute, etc.).
Can I get daily/weekly uptime reports?
Uptime Kuma doesn’t send automatic reports yet, but you can view uptime percentages and incident details anytime in the dashboard.
What should I do if a service shows "down" but I can access it normally?
Refresh the dashboard and check again. If it still shows down, it could be a network or configuration issue — contact your administrator.
Is my monitoring data secure?
Your OpsBay login can be enhanced by two-factor authentication. IP restrictions will also be available. Uptime Kuma is provided as a managed service, and credentials will be periodically updated as a security measure. Click on Show Uptime Kuma Credentials button to display current values.
